Boris spoke about Cryptosporidium and its many interactions with the bacterial flora of the intestine in Philadelphia. Superb symposium on the impact of the microbiome on human health in a broad range of contexts from Crohn's disease to infection to cancer treatment at University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dan Beiting (@hostpathogen) who heads the PENN VET organized a great program and a fantastic speaker lineup.
